Black&White--01

Black & White is pretty fun! I think it is more simplified as a tool of articulating something and it becomes easier for me to focus on practicing composition, rhythm, contrast, and etc. But still, a good B&W drawing is hard to do. You still have to think every principle ahead and execute it.

The very top one is based on a stiff figure on an old Chinese painting which I think is pretty boring. I really had fun adding motion to it with some rhythm flowing in this drawing.

The second one is losing focus...I did really bad on contrasting on this one. When I thought of the contrast and focal point it was too late already...
